Liudmyla Sulii, M.D., Ph.D. – biography

Liudmyla Sulii, Liudmyla Sulii, M.D., Ph.D., is a surgical neurophysiologist in the Specialty Care division of Jefferson Hospital of Neuroscience, Philadelphia since 2022. She teaches Ukrainian Culture at the Ukrainian Heritage School in Jenkintown, PA.

     Liudmyla was born in Ukraine in the city of Kyiv, to a family of doctors. After graduating as an M.D. from The Bogomolets National Medical University, she began her medical career in 2005 in the Department of Functional Diagnostics at the Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. She earned her Ph.D. in Neurology at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in 2017.

     Dr. Sulii is an author of 53 scientific printed works, and participant in numerous scientific research works. She is an active member of the “Saint Sophia” Religious Society of Ukrainian-Catholics (USA,) the Ukrainian Federation of America, and the Shevchenko Scientific Society.
